It was supposed to be a simple job. Infiltrate and gather information. But I wasn’t expecting her. Riley is everything I should stay away from, but can’t. A job that was supposed to make her look bad has me tangled in knots I can’t explain. And if wanting her wasn’t enough, there’s him—Michael.
He is everything I need but can’t have. When Riley receives death threats related to our case, she's forced into relying on us. We will have to push aside the burning desire we feel for one another and find out how to end the nightmare threatening our very existence.
Or my family will lose everything.
Losing isn’t an option, but I’d risk it all for them… even if it means death.
Trigger Warning: This book contains swearing, steamy sexual encounters, mm encounters, kidnapping, and death. Read with caution.

My heart hurts so much... - Tuesday, September 5, 2023 Anonymous"This is the third book in the Anastasi Family Syndicate Series. This book is about Antonio, Michael, and Rachel. Rachel is the attorney against Antonio’s sister-in-law Riley. Michael is the attorney representing Riley. What happens when Antonio is currently working in remodeling Rachel’s place but secretly trying to dig up dirt against her? What happens when Rachel cannot resist Michael or Antonio?
This book killed me. I felt my heart stop, I couldn’t breathe, and the tears started rolling out. These books just keep getting better and better. The passion and the chemistry between the characters were magnificent. The spice in this book was hot!
Antonio always feels like he can’t come clean with his family about his sexuality. Eventually, he comes around and owns it. The way Antonio loved was beautiful. The one thing I loved about Antonio and all of the author's main male characters is consent. It just makes them that much sexier. I just wanted to hug him and tell him everything was going to be okay.
Michael, oh sweet Michael. My heart broke because of you. I love you and I need you. Michael had the courage and the strength to allow Antonio to show his true self. Michael’s character is easily hands down my favorite.
Last but not least, Rachel. She came in doing her job and of course, everyone wanted to dig up the dirt on her. Then her charm and her wit had both of the boys falling. Rachel accepted the feeling she had and even though that was a risk for her job, she didn’t care. Rachel held Antonio down and kept him level.
I loved this book even though it truly crushed my heart into a million pieces. I feel so hollow now and I need the next book IMMEDIATELY! I want to say thank you to the author for writing such an amazing story with these amazing characters that I love and now hold a special place in my heart for and I cannot wait to read the next one." ~ Emily D., Amazon
